- When the market slows down, it is time to get back to basics - asking for the business, farming, followup, and all the things you don't have to do when business is coming easy. And the little things like wearing your name tag, writing thank you notes, sending birthday cards. The best agents will survive and consider this market an opportunity. This is thinning of the herd time.
