- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- The amount of education you MUST have to help the consumer through the transaction process is MASSIVE. As a "veteran" agent I believe in "information is power" the challenging part is staying on top of it. To do this, my team and I, are constantly on webinars, classes, social media etc...It's a lot of fun if you embrace it as we have.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- Recently, I was working on a Bank of America/AMS Short Sale listing. We were 30 days into the HAFA approval process and I wasn't getting anywhere with the bank. I just so happened to be at the RE/MAX convention in Las Vegas, where BofA had a group of senior negotiators. I was able to "escalate" my file from there and got an answer immediately. Moral of the story: You can be anywhere in the world, if you know the right questions to ask, and the right people to talk to you can get deals closed for your client.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Show Up, Tell the Truth and Don't be tied to the Outcome. We have built our reputation on doing what we say we're going to do. Everyone in my team is trained the same way. The clients needs always come first. I have been known to recommend the cancelling of a transaction if it is not in the best interest of the client to close.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Young energetic entrepreneurs. After doing something for many years the shine sometimes fades. Right now the world is picking up speed with technology and it is inspiring. People like my coach and mentor Tom Ferry (whom I am also a coach for) Gary Vaynerchuk, Alex Charfen. All forward thinkers whom have introduced me to the "think outside the box" philosophy.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- My father used to tell me "don't ever chase money, you'll never find it." I believe that wholeheartedly. Instead I just put myself out there to help people and if in return they recommend me to someone they know then everyone wins.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Tuscany Region of Italy! Amazing Food, Lifestyle, Scenery oh and of course....Wine!
