Liar, deceiver, manipulator and closet racist
Claims she's helping me invest by co-purchasing property with me, but is really doing it for her own profit. She allowed tenants to live rent-free for 9 months, and ran into money problems. I was kept in the dark about the property other than “market not good, cannot sell”. Found out the details through my mom. Tried partition but equity insufficient, so have to settle out of court. We signed Mutual Release. She was to pay back my investment by 9/1/08. But she didn’t. Then found out that she owned 7 other properties, 4 of them defaulted within 30 days two months ago. Instead of owning up, she lied and fabricated “facts” to manipulate my mom to get me to concede to her. Worst of all, she is my aunt. Be careful if you decide to do business with her. She isn’t honest about herself, so she won’t be honest in her dealings. She wasn’t towards me, my mom or my wife (whom she blamed for not discussing property with me). If you’re black, that’s even worse. Black men scare her.
