I have decided to put my place up for sale and contacted the individual who ****isted me in my purchase. This individual is now working for Laurie Coe Real Estate. Well, we all met on Monday, 04-Feb-08, at 2p. My friend was 10 minutes late, followed by Laurie, who arrived about 30 minutes later. This experience was a total nightmare from the word go. I realize the market is slow, but Laurie was totally obnoxious about the situation. My place has already been appraised at $137,000. First, Laurie suggested that I place it on the market at $109,000. This is $27,000 below market value which gives me no room to come down. I have cats, so, of course she told me she does not show homes with pets along with adding that she is not begging for a listing. Well, I pay a mortgage or rent to live like I want to live, not according to some real estate agent whose job is to market property. I would mot recommend this woman to anyone who wants a pleasant experience while selling property.
