I used the buyer rebate program on a home I bought in Queen Creek, Arizona. I just wanted to post and let everyone know that I received the entire rebate amount at closing. With countless online scams out there, I thought I should at least point out that one company did do exactly what they advertise. While I am not exactly sure how everything works, I do know that I received a credit at closing for $6250 from Congress Realty and that I was able to furnish my new home with the savings.

i wish i had known about this service when i sold my previous home through a 'paradise valley-specialist' who was nice enough to cut her fee to 5%. this is a way better value and i recommend it to anyone.

I went with the basic listing package and was up in the MLS the next day. I received an offer after about 4 weeks and ended up paying a buyer's agent 2.5%. When I had questions or needed forms, I called the office and someone always answered or called me back.

I recently sold my home using Mr. English and am extremely pleased. In my neighborhood where there were 5 other homes on the market (3 on my street), I was doubtful that I would be able to sell, especially since I had listed my home with another Realtor (a "neighboorhood specialist") for six months with no activity whatsoever. When I contacted Congress Realty, I was told that the bottom line was price. The subprime crunch whereby fewer and fewer buyers could obtain a loan accentuated that. I dropped my price to a level that was lower than what it would have been worth in 2005,2006, since those days have past. I still netted a large profit on what I paid in 2003. My home sold at close to asking price. Since that time, other neighbors have lowered their prices and are still active. Thank you, Mr. English, for the tough but fair advice you gave me and thank you for selling my home.
