Pretty Big Joke

Damon was horrible to work with. Non-responsive, difficult to contact, big-talker, small doer. I would not recommend him to anyone. The transaction I'm referring to in the ratings are my experience with him as the CEO of Incredible Agents .com.

Interview

What year did you become a real estate agent?
2002
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
8
What is the average home price in your market?
Currently the average single family home price in Phoenix is just above $200,000. It could be lower
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Right now Real Estate is an exciting place to be. The market is changing from the traditional style of real estate sales to this new thing called the Internet. The shift is taking place as we speak and those who take advantage of that shift will be in a much better place than those who sit on the sidelines and wait. I've been working in the Real Estate Internet industry before there ever was one. Over the past few years, the Internet has began to explode into a major factor for every real estate agent.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The most challenging issue I face has to be the competitive nature of real estate. As an agent, you're always competing to carve out your space of new business. That challenge keeps everyone in real estate fighting to get new business and keep the doors open. The other challenge would be the general market trends that occur. One of the things I've been focusing on is to make sure my clients understand the name of the game is to buy low and sell high. Sometimes that's hard to keep that at the forefront of their mind when the market is going down, but that's an important fact to remember.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
The most interesting moment of my career would have to be how I got started in Real Estate. I come to real estate with an Internet background and was able to see the writing on the wall about the future of real estate. I began talking to agents about helping market themselves on the Internet. I learned plenty about real estate and I combined that with my Internet skills to build a very successful real estate team with my Agent. My partner and I took a huge risk in developing this team, but we both knew the stakes and understood how we could help our clients more by using the Internet. It's been a great success and now I do the same thing with agents throughout the country.
What is your best characteristic?
I'd say my best characteristic is that I'm a very "earnest" person. I tell the truth no matter what and I consider myself to be a straight shooter. No spin, no nonsense, just me.
Who or what inspires you the most?
I'm always inspired by those self made people out there. I do my best to emulate their work ethic and level of success. They're truly great people when it comes down to it all.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I've received has to be not to give up what you believe in. I've gone down some bumpy roads in my life and I've never turned around because I believed in myself. I think that has to be the most important trait a person can have. All it takes to be a success is have a vision, believe in yourself and DON'T GIVE UP!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Probably somewhere in Montana, Idaho or Wyoming. I grew up on my families Ranch in Northern Arizona when I was young. So I guess I'm just a ranch kid at heart. YeeHaw!
