A friend told us about Ron Urban so we talked to him and really liked what he said. Agent #1 was quickly let go.
Ron showed us homes that were acutally less than we said we were willing to spend. He said he wanted to see if there were some deals out there we liked, no reason to spend more than we had to. Bill, my husband, was a bit surprised and even more pleased with the attitude.

hard to say but probably the mid $250,000 in 2009.

Phoenix is very affordable now. Investors, people relocating and first time home buyers have a great opportunity to buy a a fine home at a great price.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
My brother and I really enjoy teaching people about real estate and finding them the best home possible. Gene is a marketing fiend and loves creating the marketing to sell a home quickly and for a good price.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Fear is a considerable factor at this time. The corruption and collapse of the mortgage industry has left people feeling very troubled and rightfully so. Our challenge is knowing the market well enough to keep our clients safe and well positioned for the future.
We incorporate a number of market analysis tools that help keep us on top of the most recent market trends. This helps our clients on many fronts.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
We recently helped a client buy an amazing bank owned investment property. It was being sold "as is" but we were able to negotiate $15,000 in repairs paid by the seller/bank. It was great fun and an incredible deal for our client.
What is your best characteristic?
People say I am very detailed and I love to negotiate. Gene is way ahead of most agents with regard to internet saavy and knowledge.
Who or what inspires you the most?
The delight of my clients is what keeps me going. I really mean this!!
What is the best advice you ever received?
Do not give up on a transaction... keep working towards the client's best interest until you've reach your goal or done everything possible.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
San Diego for Ron and Santa Barbara for Gene.
