Before I rant, I want to point out that AF (commented on this review site as well as merchantcircle.com) has nothing but great things to say on both review sites. Sounds to me like the Daumke's have added one positive review on their own behalf to counter all of the negative ones. I lived in one of their rentals for 3 years. During that time I was trying to purchase a home and put up with a lot so that I didn't have to find another temporary rental. Dealt with late maintenance repairs (ie. had to hand wash all dishes for couple weeks), getting blamed for items when they broke, went without heat for few weeks in winter, had an algae/mosquito/blood worm infested pool and the real kicker was losing $1300 of my deposit (tried repeatedly to schedule a walk through). Read all other reviews and they sound the same. Also, review their BBB rating. An F!! Their actions are deplorable and I fear that the Daumke's are going bankrupt and they are trying to milk everyone for their money before they fold. Lawsuits are on the way.

I hired this company to manage my property and initially they were professional in listing the property and taking photos and posting to the realtor websites. That was the end of any positive experience with the entire Daumke team. From Jan Blaser who I assume handles all of the rental applications and manages the accounts to Jim Daumke and his extremely rude and bipolar wife Sandi. They have reported to me false claims that the tenants never made in an attempt to collect monies from myself as the landlord to I assume pocket in their purses. They have essentially kept my share of the rent (I am the landlord) with no explanation they shorted me on the rent collected and have paid late and some months next to nothing. When placing numerous phone call and emails they are extremely non-responsive. I fired them and they have not returned the security deposit owed to me as the landlord or given me my share of the rent. I am pursuing legal action and an ethics complaint. My poor tenants actually believe they have their interests at heart and decided to battle with me about paying the rent. They will face eviction if they are not compliant. These people are scumbags at their finest and will soon have thier day in court and their licenses possibly revoked. They actually mailed my share of the rent to the tenants and then forwarded the check to my and stopped payment. They are the most incompetent group of people I have ever dealt with, not to mention dishonest. They also are very rude over the phone and claim they do not work on weekends and never conducted a walk-thru with the tenant on move-in day. Please do yourself a favor and do not deal with the Daumke Team!!!!!!

3 years ago we moved in a rental from the Daumke Team. The entire house was dirty, even though they swore it had been cleaned. We had problems with them the entire time. Our AC went out in the summer, it took 2 days to get it fixed because Sandy ignored our phone calls. We just moved out, got the carpets and tile cleaned, painted the walls, cleaned everything. They took over $400 of our deposit. Working with them as a whole was so upsetting, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. I would never do business with them again. We were first time renters and they took advantage of us. Please find another company to rent or buy from.

I rented a home from Brad Daumke and I should have known from the beginning that this guy was shady. When I first moved in he charged a $100 cleaning fee, our house was so dirty that we made him bring his cleaning crew back in to clean the house before we would move in. Now that it’s time to move out he won’t answer calls or email. I still haven’t done a walkthrough of my house and have been moved out for over a week. Stay away!!

SO, I wrote the last review, and I can still completely recommend the Daumke Team! I received my entire deposit back within 2 weeks and was treated great the entire 2 years that I rented a home with them. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The Daumke's have been the best property managers that I have ever rented from! Not sure what happened with these other reviews, but I had a great experience with Mr Daumke and Realty Executives. They answered my emails and calls promptly and always sent someone to fix problems within 24 hours! I just moved out, so I do not know how they are with returning deposits- I will let you know though!

Brad Daumke is crooked. rented a home he managed for a year and a half time to move out all sorts of crazy fees to keep deposits. stay away from this crook!!!! wont answer emails or calls to explain!!!

Brad is a very shady and unethical agent. When I moved from my rental home in the fall it was left cleaner than when I moved in. He refused to give me my deposit back and didn't return messages or emails. NEVER AGAIN! He was never available during the term of my lease. He will take your money and run with it. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.

Tom made Melissa and Me feel like we were his best friends. He NEVER failed to follow-up, return a call, answer a question or "get the information". I am a business owner and have purchased numerous homes and properties over the years. My real estate transaction handled by Tom Myer was the best I have experienced. DO NOT RENT FROM THE DAUMKES!!! They are extremly difficult and very shady. They will not return your deposit and have a reputation around town of being the scum of the real estate market. They treat all tenants like they are trash. Ask around before renting from them.

not a nice person to deal with. simple tasks become chores. difficult to communicate with. please... be careful.

Brad is a bad agent. He is rude, inefficient & made what should've been a positive experience the worst living situation of me & my roommates lives. Do not do business with the Brad Daumke. DO NOT do business with ANY of the Daumke's. The whole family is just as callous & blatantly disrespectful as he is. The Daumke team has cost us thousands of dollars, wastes our time, causes so much unnecessary stress & they're spiteful. I filed a formal complaint about Brad & the other Daumke's & they have since used this as a passive way to punish us for speaking up. They have done this by ignoring our requests for maintenance for long periods of time, not answering our calls/e-mails, making us wait for trivial simple things &, once, actually insulted us by saying that the things that we were having problems w/were our fault. If you are looking to rent a house & you have to go through them it does not matter how amazing the house is, you should consider living somewhere else.

Brad is horrible. We only talked over the phone once and he was very unprofesssional. At the end of our lease he charged a ridiculous cleaning fee. We spent 1 week cleaning the entire house and when he saw some leaves on the ground he charged us 150 dollars for yard cleaning. The Yard has a horrible weed problem which we have taken care of but the trees constantly shed its leaves. He will sucker you out with the cleaning fee. Do not even try to clean the house when you leave since he will charge you the cleaning fee at the end. He is just all around unprofessional. I would never ever recommend him to anyone.

He managed a property that I rented for 2 years, and was nothing but unprofessional, unresponsive, and milked me for all he could when it came to returning my deposit and closing out my renting period with him. An all around disappointing and embarrassing experience.
