2003

Full time agent for the last 4 years
What is the average home price in your market?
$238,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Everyone has read the doomsday headlines. Here's the good news. Phoenix as a whole and especially the southwest valley continue to be very desirable places to live. People are still moving into the area in record numbers. Great deals are to be had for any buyer coming into the area. New build spec homes also continue to offer great discounts & incentives.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love the pursuit of finding the right home for my clients. I love being out "in the field." I have set up a mobile office in my van, which makes in so convenient & really streamlines the process. In addition I love how everyone's situation is a little different, so it's never repetitive.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I find that factors that are out of my control present the biggest challenges. Situations like current interest rates and average days on market are factors that you must always work around. It's a simple matter of changing strategy to work within the different elements in the market.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Being totally mobile, I offer great flexibality to my buyer clients. Last weekend I had a couple in town from Minnesota to purchase a home. We went out on Saturday & were looking in the $300,000 price range. When we started out on Sunday they told me that they wanted to go up into the $350,000 price range to find something they liked. I was able to pull up all of the homes in the area around $350,000 and make them printouts on the spot! This is just one example of leveraging technology to maximize my client's time.
What is your best characteristic?
I pride myself on being a true consultant, not a salesperson. I enjoy intently listening to my client's needs & feeling where they are coming from. "Results come from listening!"
Who or what inspires you the most?
My mother is a great inspiration to me both professionaly and personally. She has been in the real estate business for 20+ years, and to know her is to love her.
What is the best advice you ever received?
"Never let anyone change your values."
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Maui, Hawaii
