What year did you become a real estate agent?
2004
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
3 Years
What is the average home price in your market?
$245,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Absolutely! We've transitioned rapidly to a buyer's market after the seller's market of 2005. Inventory is plentiful and bargains are available !
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
There is nothing like closing day! For a buyer, it is an opportunity to own their own home. For the seller, it is the opportunity to move on to the next phase of their life. Our business is mostly by referral (excess of 90%) and so we get to see multiple generations of clients come through. It's very fulfilling!
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Educating our clients on the current market trends as they truly are; not as the media would have them believe.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
We've had several first time home buyers be able to achieve their dream of home ownership when they never thought it possible. We have a superb network of lenders and title companies that partner with us to make this happen.
What is your best characteristic?
Patience and compassion. Both are a necessity for developing "relationship" clients that keep coming back over again.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Our lead agent, Elaine Sans Souci. With 22 years of real estate experience in the Phoenix market, there isn't too much she hasn't seen. She is a wealth of information!
What is the best advice you ever received?
Learn to strip emotion out of a situation. For all the money involved in a real estate transaction, it is still largely an emotional process. Really listen to your client's concerns rather than the emotion that may be delivering the concern!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Hum...good question!
"I get to save people $1,000's every time they use my Company and that makes me feel great. I do not need to get rich off everyone else. People meet..."
