Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
The shear joy of seeing people get the homes of their dreams. I enjoy working with buyers and sellers to ensure that everyone's needs are met.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Qualifying our commission. We work hard for our money and we do it all up front. We spend the time, effort and advertising money before we ever see a commision check. People don't understand all the hours we put into finding the perfect home and doing everything we can to make sure they get it and they get it at the fairest price.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I worked with a young couple for almost a year due to their "stage fright" of home ownership. I probably showed them 100+ houses. I was so proud of them when they finally closed on their house. They cried and thanked me over and over again for having the patience to put up with them. I assured them it was my pleasure and would do it again in a heartbeat.
What is your best characteristic?
Flexibility. I get calls all the time to drop what I am doing and take care of a situation or just to go see a house. I am ready to go at a moments notice just in case this house is "THE ONE".
Who or what inspires you the most?
My Mom. She is the most giving human being. She raised me to care about people and to put others first. Those qualities have taken me far in life.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Get your education, it is never wasted. I have a lot of degrees, certificates and life experiences. Nothing is a waste of time, you learn something from everything.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Not sure yet, but it will definitely be a warm climate with lots of activities to do.
